The American journalist and talk show host, Josh Barro, has tried to ridicule Europeans who don't have a dryer in their homes, but it has backfired. Accustomed to talking about the economy and business, this time he has interfered in European costumbrismo as far as electrical appliances are concerned, being applauded by his own and vilified by the inhabitants of the other side of the pond who have branded him ignorant.

"This is something that I find adorable about Europe, all these tiny countries like 'look at me, I have an enviable GDP per capita', and then it turns out that no one has a dryer. It's so cute! "wrote the US to start a thread in which he states that we Europeans put the Extra Dry program on the washing machine to hang it for less time and that on this continent "it rains a lot", directly ignoring the fact that there are warm areas where it rains rather little.

But good old Josh made a dash forward. Among the thousands of reactions that his tweet has triggered, many appreciated that he was issuing a judgment far removed from reality on the part of Europe and, incidentally, that he was defending a very unsustainable energy consumption model, but he has given the same and has preferred to continue in his burlesque tone despising people from countries that are not his.

La furiosa réplica de un español al americano que cargó contra Europa por no usar la secadora

It is clear that Barro - who lives in a country where there are 85% of homes with a dryer compared to 25% of Europeans - did not know what a Spanish tweeter is capable of when he gets angry, but if he bothers to read some of his mentions and using the translator you will be able to find out a couple of little things that have been pointed out to you from Castilla y León in a thread that exceeds 10,000 reactions and is hilarious from start to finish:

After his strong start, the tweeter tries to explain why the weather is decisive when buying a dryer:

After breathing, somewhat calmer, he continued to endorse his ironic response with data:

And once again in the heat, he set out to reply that Europe is "quite rainy":

Making it very clear with his illustration that calm is not an option, the Castilian tweeter continued:

And the thing did not stop there:

Concluding, before the final fireworks, that Barro was racist and sexist for another of his contributions to the debate:

But, beware, Josh has not been the only one to take his before the final point:

The barrage of tweets from this Spaniard, who looks a lot like an Argentine insulting soccer players, ends in a very professional way with his own errata:

What we would give for Josh (Joshua for colleagues) to answer Get on the otter.
