First great gay wedding in Costa Rica was organized in less than a week |The tile

Although 2022 is just beginning, the Gay community cataloged marriage between José Luis González Ledezma and Glenn Webb Cárdenas as the wedding of the year.

The couple, who is four years old, married the previous Saturday in the middle of a luxury ceremony that cost more than four million colones and that everything was organized in less than a week.

On Monday of last week José Luis proposed to Glenn and he replied: "I marry you right now."

Despite how fast everything was, the wedding did not stop having fine details, suits to taste and tailored for the bride and groom and with spectacular surprises for the 60 guests.

Both, in addition to being professional stylists and having their salon, José Luis is an accounting assistant and Gleen has a degree in Business Administrator and Public Accountant.

"Paying and moving, this is how we managed to organize everything so fast," said José Luis.

As Glenn confessed, he had never talked about how the wedding of his dreams would be like, so the same night of the proposal sat down to see the options of the costumes and shoes, because both wanted them to be unique.

“The costumes are gala, made by a designer to our measure and are unique in the country, shoes too.The designs are an idea of José Luis and they (the designers) helped us to capture what we wanted, ”said Glenn.

The person in charge of making the elegant costumes of the boyfriends was Luis Carlos Torres, of custom suits Luca, the same one that has made attire similar to personalities such as the presidential candidate Óscar López, the defense of Saprissa and the Sele, Kendall Wastonand to the national champion coach, Justin Campos, among others.

According to the tailor, the two costumes made them in three days thanks to the help of his colleague Mizrraim Moreno and another seamstress.

“They were gala suits, very formal.Full neck costumes, a button, navy blue with white, with a dumbbell shirt, that is, they were overlaps, because a traditional suit is with a flap, with normal neck, this no, this was a single gala suit.The tie and the flap scarf were Japanese silk, ”said the designer.

Luis Carlos commented that each suit has a cost of 300 thousand colones, but in the end he made a special price, because they also brought a girdle, stockings, ties and scarves.

“Minutes before the limousine came for them I took the shirts, which was the only thing that was missing.Everything was tailored and there was no adjustments of anything.I offered to dress them to look like a dolls of Queque, ”she said.

The two shoes were made by designer Harold Noguera.

To get even more elegant to their big day, the couple rented two limousines.

The first white era and picked them up in his house in Heredia and led them to take a very special tour of the provinces where they are from: Heredia and Alajuela.

“Glenn lives in Heredia and we wanted to take some photos in the Central Park, then we went to the Gardines del Memory cemetery to provide in front of the tomb of my deceased father -in -law.From there we pass to the Central Park of Alajuela, because I am from there, to take other photos so that there were memories of our province and the toast with Gleen's father, ”said the now newly married José Luis.

In the limousine that took them to the place of the ceremony, the moms of both, Virginia Cárdenas and Ericka Ledezma, who were very happy to see them formalize their union were also.

The two best friends of the couple, Yoselin Meléndez and Yency Brenes, were the wedding godmothers, which started at 4 p.m.and was legalized by a Ramonense lawyer.

The event hall was also finely decorated with many flowers and details in blue and white.

"We are never planning anything, nothing else got something in our head, it became and ready," Glenn clarified.
