The twelfth edition of My French Film Festival kicked off its activities worldwide and presents us with 30 incredible French-speaking films; On this occasion, we will be able to enjoy their film selection from the comfort of home and completely free of charge. Free and quality cinema at My French Film Festival 2022

In order to promote the film productions of young filmmakers, as well as to disseminate the best of French cinema and in French, Unifrance launched for the twelfth occasion My French Film Festival in 2022; It is a global event and contest that presents free screenings for all of Latin America and for various parts of the world.

During its new edition, this virtual event comes with an attractive selection of 30 films produced in France or in predominantly French-speaking nations. Among them are the feature films The Monopoly of Violence, The Horizon and The Lover, and the shorts Luna, Como antes and Ómnibus.

Likewise, 10 feature films and 10 short films are in competition for one of the festival's awards. On this occasion, five recognitions will be awarded, such as the International Jury Grand Prize, the Public Awards and the International Press Awards.

The program of the twelfth edition also includes films outside the competition, from Switzerland and Canada. In turn, within the programming you will find a section aimed at young audiences, a selection of virtual reality cinema and heritage cinema.

The festival will run from January 14 to February 14, 2022; During this month, moviegoers from all over the world will have the chance to enjoy movies from the comfort of their home. Below we break down the list of films that are part of the event.

It should be noted that this selection of films reaches Mexico and all of Latin America for free. In addition to these territories, Russia, South Korea, Africa and part of Europe will have access to the festival's films at no cost. For the rest of the world, a charge will be made for access to these film productions.

Where to see the films of My French Film Festival?

If you want to put together your movie marathon, all you have to do is enter the official platform of My French Film Festival (here we leave you the link) to be able to view the films. In addition, there are more than 70 associated digital services; Among them are FilminLatino, Cinema Uno, Amazon Prime Video and the official site of the Morelia Film Festival.

On the other hand, some of these productions will be screened outdoors at the Forum of the National Cinematheque. Such is the case of Playlist (Tuesday, January 25), Las Indias Gallantes (Wednesday, January 26) and Under the Lebanon Skies (Thursday, January 27).
