Nostradamus' disturbing predictions for the year 2022

Inflation

Nostradamus wrote from France plunged into despair from the Plague, or bubonic plague, which came to decimate the population of Europe in its successive waves as a horrifying echo of a pandemic without vaccines or hospitals.

Today, on the other hand, countries like the United States, the United Kingdom or Argentina are mired in inflationary problems, some due to more temporary issues than others.

Returning to the predictions published by The History Channel on its site: "No abbots, no monks, no novices to learn; honey will cost much more than candle wax; (so much) that a man will be moved; to eat his fellow in his despair." Calm.

Climate change

"Like the sun, the head will burn the bright sea; the fish of the Black Sea will boil; when Rhodes and Genoa; they will be half starving; the locals will cut them with effort", are some of the verses that the wise doctor of the plague, and with the recent scientific evidence on the increase in the minimum temperatures of the entire planet, interpretation is the order of the day.

Extreme drought, floods

"For 40 years the rainbow will not be seen; for 40 years it will be seen every day; the dry land will become more arid; and there will be great floods where they are seen," reads one of the verses reproduced by the New York Post.

Meanwhile, Yearly Horoscope notices another quartet dealing with French locations: "The cities of Tours, Orleans, Blois, Angers, Reims, and Nantes; are convulsed by sudden change; shops will be pitched by people with other languages; rivers, darts at Reims, earthquakes on land and at sea".

If the long-standing housing crisis in refugee camps in France and other European countries is not taken into account, this could be an indication that an earthquake will happen in 2022.

Artificial intelligence, war?

"The moon in the middle of the night on the high mountain; the new sage with a lonely mind sees it; invited by his disciples to be immortal; eyes to the south, hands on chest, bodies on fire", reads between the verses of Nostradamus, who was ready to be a lyricist for a metal band.

With this omen and others such as "those from Lake Geneva (Leman) or Mâcon; formed against those of Aquitaine; many Germans, even more Swiss; will be led together with those of Humanity" could mean that the Third World War is coming, this time against androids.

War in the Eastern Mediterranean

The explosion could be from a volcano or from climate change, yes, or from a nuclear bomb if you take into account the quartet presented by Yearly Horoscope: "the sky will burn at 45 degrees; the fire will approach the new city; the Widespread flames will explode; when the 'Normans' are put to the test."

Has the time for cryptocurrencies come?

The concept of cryptocurrencies could never have crossed the mind of a medieval doctor and astrologer, but Nostradamus did say in his horoscope that "the inflated copies of gold and silver; that after the theft were thrown into the lake; when it is discovered that everything is finished and wasted by debt; all notes and bonds will be eliminated".

With such a vision of the post-pandemic economy, saving in cryptocurrencies seems less far-fetched, even taking into account the bubbles that form in that market from time to time. Traditional exchanges could be less and less attractive for a long-term investment, let alone using paper notes.

Geminid meteor shower, and an asteroid fall?

Humanity could be facing a moment worthy of the Cretaceous, with an entire asteroid crashing into the planet and causing years of darkness, climate change and the extinction of thousands of species.

Another option is that in December 2022 there will be a 72-hour night with the threat of tsunamis or earthquakes courtesy of a shower of comets from the Geminids, or as Nostradamus says: "Very close to Auch, Lectoure and Mirande; a great fire It will fall from the sky for three nights. The cause will be both awesome and wonderful. Soon after, an earthquake will strike."

The world is still complicated by the coronavirus pandemic, whose Ómicron variant once again put health systems in check, although less than in 2020. Therefore, governments could have problems reactivating economies, and towns could take several years in recovering from the devastating blow of losing loved ones.
