The 20 best honeymoon destinations according to experts

For some of the newly married couples, planning the honeymoon can be just as important as planning the wedding ceremony.

US News & World Report has compiled the best honeymoon destinations around the world based on expert opinion along with the votes of thousands of travelers. Some of these destinations, such as Bora Bora, have been chosen by newlywed couples for years and years, for a reason.

Beaches in warm places and Italian towns occupy the top part of the classification, these are the best destinations for your honeymoon.

20. Nice, France

For those couples who want a romantic honeymoon in France but without giving up the experience of the Mediterranean coast, Nice is the place they are looking for.

Once there, some of the things you can do are watch a tennis match at the Nice Lawn Tennis Club, which opened in 1890, take a walk along the Promenade des Anglais, and visit the Théâtre de la Photographie et de l'Image.
