Pedro Castillo: "I never went through a honeymoon as has been given in the other governments"
El presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo, lamentó que su administración no haya tenido “una luna de miel”.The president reiterated that he has not been formed to occupy the highest position of the nation."I have come by the mandate of the town so as not to commit the same," he said.
“In management there is a learning process.I never went through a honeymoon as has been given in the other governments and who knows this way of learning in the same process, ”said Castillo Terrones in an interview with CNN.
"I never trained for politician.As I reiterate, I was never formed for president.I have come by the mandate of the people not to commit the same, ”added the head of state.
However, the president said that although he does not have a political training, he will not pass the five years of mandate learning.
“That does not mean that I am going to spend my whole government learning.Enough of that, ”he said.
At another time, when asked by appointments questioned -like those of Héctor Béjar, Iber Maraví or Guido Bellido -, Castillo Terrones pointed out that they were “people brought to serve the country”.
“They are people who swore with me to do good for the country.I am a person that I have fought against terrorism as a rondero and as president I will continue to battle, ”he said.
“If I had been consistent that they were in that (terrorism), I would not have been swearing (...) I found them in the town and VI contributing to the country as professionals, as leaders, ”he concluded.
