L'Horta, the complementary tourist destination to Valencia city

Valencia city annually receives the visit of thousands of people. For their part, the municipalities of the region of l'Horta have been working for years on the development of tourism projects capable of attracting the attention of visitors who go to the capital.

Different tourist experiences, away from great monuments and overcrowding. The towns of the region want to show the world their natural charm where the orchard, gastronomy, beaches and heritage are also more than worthy of receiving visitors. Proposals

Turisme Carraixet is consolidated as one of the most important sustainable tourist destinations in the region and in the province, thanks to the success of its tourism development strategy.

Made up of Albalat dels Sorells, Alfara del Patriarca, Almàssera, Bonrepòs i Mirambell, Foios, Meliana and Vinalesa, it continues to promote the importance and respect of its orchard for tourism, which implies at an environmental level and also the importance of its produce. proximity thanks to all the agents who work it, from the farmer, through traditional shops, to the final transformation of the product, hand in hand with restaurants.

Throughout the year they carry out different experiences, one of the most outstanding is Miradors de l'horta. They also have different cycle paths.

Alboraya, the cradle of horchata with a quality coastline

Alboraya City Council takes advantage of its regular presence at FITUR to present its new tourism brand 'Alboraia Turisme'. The most important sector fair in the country and with a great international projection, which takes place in Madrid from January 19 to 23, has one more year with the Valencian municipality, which on this occasion is presenting the four pillars in those that the locality works in its tourist development: sea, orchard, culture and horchata.

In addition, the Alboraya City Council already has the four diplomas that certify the excellence of the La Patacona and Port Saplaya beaches and the two Tourist Info offices that provide services there during the bathing season. The Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE) has delivered the Q for Quality document to the municipality at 'La Noche Q', an event that is held annually at the Madrid City Council taking advantage of the framework offered by the International Tourism Fair.

Massamagrell

Massamagrell is one of the municipalities that is part of the Grail Route, and that has had a notable presence in previous years at the fair, such as the year in which the Peris Carbonell sculpture was moved, now it is located in the Plaza de la Noria, at the stand of the Valencian Community.

Gómez has remarked that “belonging to the Grail Route allows us to publicize and value our municipality. In Massamagrell you can, among many other things, enjoy nature in the Rafalell and Vistabella marshes, visit the Parish Church built in the 18th century and which was the old cathedral of the region of l'Horta Nord, discover the pictorial work of Martínez Beneyto in his house-museum -which also celebrates its centenary this year-, or stroll through the Capuchin Convent of Santa María Magdalena, dating from 1597; in addition to enjoying its festivals and traditions, the gastronomy, and of course, its people”.

The Alfafar City Council has presented the Strategic Tourism Plan 2021-2025 at the International Tourism Fair in Madrid. The municipality has various potentialities to become a tourist destination. Its proximity to the city of Valencia, its powerful commercial offer and its cultural and ethnological heritage are presented as one of the main attractions of the municipality, to which is added the Natural Park of La Albufera.

In addition, the calendar of festive, cultural and sports activities can help develop the tourist activity of Alfafar, placing this town on the tourist map of the Valencian Community and the entire country.

Puig

El Puig presents at FITUR 2022 the implementation of its new Strategic Tourism Development Plan 2022-2025. The economic and social agents of the municipality have participated in the preparation of this Plan, in order to collect their needs and proposals.

In this new Action Plan, 8 strategic lines are proposed that contain a wide range of actions that must be carried out over the next 4 years. Among them, it is worth highlighting the modernization of the tourist offer, through the implementation of tourist quality systems and the development of actions for the conversion of Puig into a Smart Tourist Destination; product structuring with the revitalization, among others, of the Puig Gastronomic Product Club; and progress towards the new commercialization of tourist experiences for direct sale, through online and offline marketing actions.

Peanuts

Manises debuts its designation as a UNESCO Creative City in the category of Crafts and Popular Arts at FITUR, the international tourism fair.

In FITUR, the municipality bets one more year on experiential tourism, because each visitor takes a beautiful personal and unique memory of each emotion experienced. The experiences offered by Manises are linked to the local ceramic tradition, which has left its mark on the urban landscape as well as on the uses, customs and festivities, such as the Festival and the Cavalcade of Ceramics held annually in July. The proposals are also sustainable, since they give the possibility of enjoying the natural environment closest to the city, the Turia Natural Park and the cultivation of the Horta Valenciana.

Known for its special relationship, protection and promotion of the culture of fire and gunpowder and recently declared "Ciutat del Foc" by the Valencian Courts, the city of Paterna returns this year to the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) to consolidate its projection international tourist destination as the cradle of gunpowder, a pyrotechnics protectorate and the setting for film shoots.

To do this, apart from having a promotional stand in the Valencian Community space, Paterna will exhibit tomorrow, Wednesday, January 19 at 2:15 p.m. in the Central Plaza of IFEMA how fire feels and how it takes care of it through different cultural and festive manifestations, a tradition with centuries of history in the city, which forms part of the DNA of its inhabitants, which passes from generation to generation and which has its maximum expression in the Cordà de Paterna.

In the same way, on Thursday the 20th, at 4:40 p.m., it will be the turn to present its most cinematographic side. It will do so in the Fitur Screen space
