Paterna withdraws 860 kilos of scrap, 6,000 kilos of rubble and 1,300 kilos of belongings

The cleaning services of the City Council of Paterna have retired during these days of the Coma neighborhood 860 kilos of scrap, 6.000 kilos of rubble and 1.300 kilos of goods.

All this additional collection is part of the special cleaning action that, periodically, the Consistory performs in this neighborhood as reinforcement of the daily cleaning and collection of waste with the objective of improving the image and health of the neighborhood.

Specifically, 860 kilos of junk have been collected on Alboraia Street, 6.000 kilos of debris of a lot located next to the Plaza de la Yesa and others 1.300 kilos of goods se han recogido de diferentes puntos del barrio.This extraordinary cleaning campaign will perform on Carcaixent Street, where it is planned to collect between 800 and 1.000 kilos of garbage.

In this regard, the Councilor for Services, Mercedes Navarro recalled that to reduce these figures, last January the Consistory, in collaboration with the Association of Neighbors of the Coma, Jovesolides, Gypsy Secretariat Foundation and Caritas La Coma,In progress 'La Coma, Barrio Clean', a citizen awareness campaign directed in value the municipal cleaning that is carried out in the neighborhood and involving and raising awareness of the neighbors about the importance, in the current sanitary context derived from the COVID-19, to collaborate in the maintenance of a clean neighborhood.

With that same objective, in the next few days the Consistory will also place posters in the most recurrent neighborhood of accumulating garbage and equipment to raise awareness among the neighbors about the need to collaborate in their cleanliness and remind them of the existence of a servicemunicipal collection of belongings and an ecoparque.
