How to easily remove all stains from children's clothes

The cleaning trick that they have used for decades is simple and unique: separate the clothes well when washing and, above all, rub. There are not many other solutions (and of course there are no miracles here) to thoroughly clean the cuffs and collars of white shirts and polo shirts so that the color does not cloud up to a kind of dull and ugly grey. We have all seen children and adults who wear their white clothes with surprising brightness to the point of looking like they are new, and others who, after only a few washes, wear clothes that look dull, muddy and old.

The secret is the way you wash. The first thing is to separate the white clothes very well if we are going to wash them in the washing machine in the company of other clothes. It is best to mix white with white exclusively. If possible, nothing white with beige, light blue, pale pink or similar. If it is not possible, you can combine these soft and very light colors with white clothes, what happens is that, if you have the opportunity, the other thing is recommended so as not to cloud the white of the clothes that you are going to wash in any way.

In case the clothes are dirty or very chafed, as usually happens with the cuffs and collars of white garments, you should gently rub those areas to remove much of the dirt that accumulates there. The most effective thing is that you do it with the so-called house soap (a recipe widely used by older people and increasingly recovered by a large part of the population due to the excellent results it offers). This type of soap, also called Marseille soap, or even Lagarto soap for what is known from one of its commercial brands, effectively whitens and removes much of the dirt.

Wash white clothes with homemade soap

How to easily remove all stains from children's clothing

You can buy the house soap in stores (it is available in paste and in the traditional hard tablet format) or make it by hand and, thus, recycle and reuse products as polluting as used oil, which you will reuse give a second and useful life. For this you will have to use water, used olive oil and caustic soda, as well as some aromatic essence or softener to perfume the mixture.

The recipe for the house soap is as follows:

Homemade soap offers you an unbeatable cleaning of white clothes.

You must respect the measurements of the homemade soap recipe so that the mixture becomes soap thanks to the saponification process. To do this, the first thing is to dissolve the soda in the water (remember to protect your hands and mucous membranes because the soda is very corrosive and gives off vapors that can be toxic) and then add the mixture to the used olive oil. Next, beat carefully so that the ingredients emulsify and, once it has turned into a kind of puree, add the softener or essential oil you want to scent the mixture.

You can pour the mixture into an appropriate mold or place it in a container suitable for this type of product and let it rest for a minimum of 24 hours away from drafts or a cold environment. Once it hardens, cut up the soap and allow it to sit for several days with the pieces of homemade soap separated from each other. Later, when it has hardened enough, use each piece to rub the most resistant stains.

It is best to try it directly on the cuffs and collars of white shirts and polo shirts to see the results. Gently rub the dirtiest and most chafed parts with the soap (you can do it in the sink if you don't have a sink) and, if you want, insist on the most delicate parts with the help of a toothbrush that you have already Retired due to being heavily used. Rinse and wash normally in the washing machine with the rest of the white clothes and, when you hang it up and it is dry, check the results. You will be amazed.
